| bugger. they make great daily drivers coz they are damn reliable. its one of the reasons i have the xd and use it as a daily. this car has been the biggest pain in the arse ever i think, but i do over 1000km in it a week with work and stuff and it doesnt get a lot of maintainence. ive put the best part of 130,000km on it in the 2 years ive had it, and its only on its 3rd motor, 4th gearbgox and 3rd diff................
but, the xd we had before this one never had a spanner on it. it got converted from auto to manual within a month of us getting it, and we literally drove the arse off it for 2 years straight. multiple trips interstate, and it got flogged hard every time the key got turned. that car still has its original motor in it with atleast 400,000km on it and it will still blow the doors clean off this one. both cars are 6 cyl.

| GO Road for a nice "scenic cruise", and a "run back" through Deans Marsh/Lorne Rd to Winchelsea. | |

| anyone know of a cheap smallish industrial shed for lease around moolap/south geelong/drysdale/portarlington/ocean grove area? Yes I know there's plenty in North Geelong but I don't want to be located around that area. | |

| Yeah, I hate football to be honest Mason. It's those dirty scum Collingwood supporters who spat on me when I was a young fella (age 13) that spoiled it for me ..... oh and they were adult supporters, not kids as you'd expect!
I have one simple motto in life. "If it doesn't have tits or wheels ... it's not a sport"! Aldi Drizzledale should be up within a few months, they reckon by Christmas if the wet weather stays away.

| Too true glen, unfortunately it's a common theme across majority of motorsport I'd love AVESCO to drop the whole V8 Supercars regime all together, it has run it's course and people just arn't interested anymore. I reckon they should revive the old Group C days or atleast something similar. The cars you see on the track were very much the cars you see on the road. And manufactures produced cars like the GT-HO and the brocky commodores so they could get the trick parts on the track, and as a result we got them on the road I even liked the idea of Group A racing, but reality is Australians don't like losing, especially to the japanese. Nissan R32 GT-R 1 - Australian Group A Racing 0. V8 supercars was intersting for the first 5 years or so, but now I'd prefer to watch slotcar races | |
